One Dish Cinnamon Swirl

Batter

1 1.2 C All Purpose Flour

1/4 C Sugar

1/4 tsp Salt

2 envelopes RapidRise Yeast

2/3 C very warm Milk (120º to 130º F)

2 Tbsp Butter or Margarine (melted)

2 Tbsp Corn Oil

1 Egg

Cinnamon Mixture

3 Tbsp Butter or Margarine (softened)

3/4 C Golden Brown Sugar

1 1/2 C Ground Cinnamon

Icing

1 C Confectioners Sugar

1 to 2 Tbsp Milk

1 Tbsp Butter or Margarine (melted)

1/2 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

                                                                                                                           

  1. Mix ingredients in a pre-sprayed 8x8 baking dish and let rest 10 minutes.

  2. Combine cinnamon mixture in a bowl with a fork

  3. Top batter evenly with cinnamon mixture and using fingers poke the mixture thoroughly inside the batter

  4. Bake by placing in a COLD oven set to 350º F.  Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown and firm in center.

  5. Cool 10 minutes and combine icing ingredients and drizzle over warm cake

About 20 minutes PREP time.
