Tbsp flour 1
cup milk 1
cup turkey or chicken broth 4
cups diced cooked turkey cut into 1 inch pieces 1/2
(10oz) package or frozen tiny peas (thawed and drained) 1/2
(10oz) package or frozen diced carrots (thawed and drained) 1
pastry shell for an 8 or 9 inch pie 1/2
tsp salt 1/4
tsp Pepper MAKE
A SAUCE OUT OF THE FOLLOWING 6
Tbsp butter or margarine 6
Tbsp flour 1
cup milk 1
cup chicken or turkey broth 1/2
tsp salt 1/4
tsp pepper 1.
Heat until thickened and turkey, peas and carrots and heat
thoroughly 2.
Roll out pastry shell into a 12x8 inch rectangle, (cut 12 -1 inch slits in
dough) 3.
Spray a 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4 baking dish with non stick cooking spray
and
add turkey mixture. 4.
Place pastry shell over hot turkey mixture and seal edges to sides of pan 5.
With a knife open the slits as much as possible. 6.
Bake in hot oven (about 425º) until bubbling hot and pastry is brown
(about
25 to 30 minutes. Note:
