Chocolate Rum Balls

 

1 package of Vanilla Wafers, crushed  (3 1/4 cups)
3/4 cup of Confectioners sugar
1/4 cup of cocoa
1 1/2 cups of chopped nuts
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 cup rum
 
Combine crushed Vanilla Wafers, 3/4 cup Confectioner's Sugar, cocoa, and nuts.  Blend in corn syrup and rum.  Shape into 1 inch balls; roll in confectioners sugar.  Store in an air tight container several days to develop flavor.  Roll again in confectioner's sugar before serving.  Makes about 4 dozen rum balls.
