Pizzelle

8 cups flour                                                  1 dozen eggs

3 cups sugar                                                 1 bottle of anise

1 lb oleo

 

 

  1. Melt butter in a large bowl

  2. Add eggs and beat

  3. Add sugar, flour and anise and stir

  4. Using electric pizzelle iron of stove top iron make your first cookie and throw it away.  

  5. Cook the rest of the cookies until just turning light golden brown.  

You can cut the recipe to make less
