Ham and Scallop Potatoes

In a slow cooker

6-8 slices of ham
8-10 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
2 onions thinly sliced or onion powder
1-10 3/4 ounce can of cream of chicken soup
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar or American cheese  ( or a little of both)
Salt and pepper to taste
Paprika (optional) 

                                                                                                                           

1.  Put half the ham, potatoes, onions  in a 6 quart slow cooker.  Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cheese.  Repeat layers.
2.  Spoon soup over top.  Sprinkle with paprika.
3.  Cover.  Cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4 hours.

NOTES:  If you  like it creamier add  3/4 of a can of milk.  Pour it over top      of the layers.  Also, you can use  any cream soup you like
