Herman Cinnamon Rolls

Flour |
|
1/2 tsp |
Baking Soda |
|
4 tsp |
Baking Powder |
|
1/2 tsp |
Salt |
|
1/2 cup |
Cooking OPil |
|
|
Margarine (softened) |
|
|
Cinnamon & Sugar |
|
|
TOPPING (placed on bottom when
baking) |
|
1 stick |
Melted Butter |
|
1 cup |
Brown Sugar |
|
1.2 cup |
Nuts (I use Chopped
Walnuts) |

|
1. Thoroughly mix first 5
ingredients. Add oil and lightly knead on a lightly floured
|
|
|
board until no longer sticky. |
|
|
2. Roll out dough to a
1/4" thick rectangle shape & lightly coat with softened
margarine. |
|
|
3. Sprinkle with cinnamon
and sugar to taste |
|
|
4. Roll up like a jelly
roll and cut into 1/2" slices |
|
|
5. Mix topping ingredients
and spread on bottom of either 2 round or 1- 9x13 cake pan |
|
|
6. Lay slices of dough on
top of topping mixture with edges barely touching each other |
|
|
7. Bake at 350° about 30
minutes or until golden brown |
|
|
8. Invert pan immediately
on cooking rack to remove (before toping sticks to pan) |
