4th of July Cake

  1 box

  White or Yellow Cake Mix

 

  Water, Oil and Eggs according to directions on cake mix

  1 tub

  Vanilla frosting or whipped topping 

  1/2 c

  Blueberries

  1 1/2 pints

  Strawberries - sliced in 1/2

  13x9x2 pan

 

 

  Preheat oven to 350°.  Grease (or lightly spray with non stick cooking spray)

  bottom of 13x9x2" rectangular baking pan. 

  Mix cake mix according to directions using water, oil and eggs.  Pour into baking pan.

  Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.  You may need to decrease

  baking time 2 to 3 minutes if you are using a dark or nonstick pan.  Remove from oven 

  When done and cool forr10 minutes.  Remove from pan and continue to cook on wire 

  rack for 1 hour.

  Frost with frosting or whipped topping.  Arrange berries on top of icing to form a flag

  design.  Serve immediately.  If using whipped topping remember to store in refrigerator.
