SOFT PEANUT BUTTER
COOKIE 1/2 cup creamy
peanut butter 1/2 cup brown
sugar 1 Egg
beaten 1 tsp baking
soda 1/4 cup shortening 1/2 cup Sugar 1 cup sifted
flour 1 Cream
peanut butter and shortening together 2 Gradually add sugar,
continue to cream until light and fluffy 3 Add beaten egg. Sift Flour
and baking soda together and add to mixture 4 Mix well 5 Place on a greased cookie
sheet and press down with the tongs of a fork in a
crisscross pattern 6 Bake
at 350 for 10 to 15 min. cool about 2 or 3 min before
removing from cookie sheet
