Stir well and cook over medium high heat JUST till boiling   

    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup white corn syrup (Karo)

Remove from heat and add:

    1/4 cup peanut butter

Pour mixture over:

    3 cups Special K cereal

Quickly mix well and press into buttered 9 X 13 pan

    (Can use smaller pan if you like thicker bar)

Frosting:

Melt over hot water or in microwave:

    1 small package butterscotch chips

    1/2 large package chocolate chips

Stir and spread over bars.

Cut into squares. Store at room temperature.
